Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

 

Stacy Dickt, Senior Pastor

Pastor Stacy Dickt

“There and Back Again” is not just a title of a fictional book, it is both the physical and spiritual journey of Pastor Stacy.   He is a native of the great state of Indiana, and is an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs!  He grew up in a non-Christian home and at the age of 17 moved out on his own.  In the time from the age of 17 to the age of 23 the life he led was in no way pleasing to God.  He is no stranger to the issues that face many people today.  At the age of 20 he had a near death experience that was a big influence to the calling he responded to.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” 
Pastor Stacy came to be our pastor here at Ryot in January 2011, after previously ministering as senior pastor in Illinois and Georgia.  He is an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene.  Throughout his ministry he has been actively involved in the community that God has placed him in.  His number one priority is to love the Lord with all his hearts through loving those that God entrusted him to pastor.  Pastor Stacy is a lively and energetic preacher and teacher of God’s Word.  His style of preaching is sure to capture the ear and the hearts of listeners with the message of hope and holiness that is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

Kevin Davis, Associate Pastor

Pastor Kevin Davis

Pastor Kevin leads worship through music in our Sunday Morning Worship Services. He also leads the college age and young adult Sunday School class.
Pastor Kevin was born and raised in Bedford County and is now raising his family of three sons, Sheldon, Shane, and Stevin; along with his wife, Janice.
Currently, Pastor Kevin is taking classes through the Nazarene Bible College to become an ordained elder of the Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Kevin is a bi-vocational pastor; he is also a high school teacher.
