Please pray for Pastor Jerry Dunlap (Hanover, PA), who had surgery on Friday, January 22 at York, PA Hospital.  Jerry had three discs removed and new ones put in their place (in the upper part of his neck 5-6-7). He will not be able to preach for 12 weeks.  Thank you for your prayers on his behalf!!  UPDATE:  In Debbie's words:  "Jerry had a setback this week.  The Doctors are not sure but they think he might have had a slight allergic reaction to new pain medications - anyway he couldn't swallow.  By the time Debbie got home from work, Jerry was vomiting, and she took him to the ER in York, notifying his neurosurgeon that we were on the way.  They ordered blood work and an x-ray at the ER and said he had flushed all the sodium out of his system.  If I hadn't taken him to the ER when I did he probably would have had a seizure. He was admitted and was there until Thursday afternoon while they looked at what caused the swallowing problem and treated the sodium problem.  He is no longer allowed to drink water at all - has to have Gatorade until they tell him differently and they are still dealing with the swallowing problem.  If it wasn't an allergic reaction it could be that the incision on his neck is swollen inside.  It could be that his throat will probably take 6 months until it is totally back to normal.  We know the Lord is in control and got us to the ER in time!"  Please continue to pray for Jerry!  (3/1/10)

Philippine Children Leadership Summit
Please pray for the first Philippine Children Leadership Summit to be held at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary on April 27-30. The participants are third and fourth year high school students from both the Pastor’s Kids program and Holistic Child Development projects. Pray for the safe travel of participants coming from all over the Philippines as well as for the speakers and facilitators. Pray that God’s spirit will be poured out on participants and many will come to know him in a new and personal way

USA/Canada Region – Pray that God will continue to give a spirit of generosity to the Nazarenes in 5,000 churches in the U.S.A. and Canada as they give to keep our missionaries on the field
