Local NMI President: Sharon

One of the most important values of Ryot Church of the Nazarene is our mission to the world beginning in our own community and spreading overseas to every nation. Find more about NMI HERE! Ryot Nazarene is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world and you can too, here’s how:

Congregation Involvement:

We are active in supporting missions through our semi-annual  World Evangelism Fund offerings, semi-annual Alabaster offerings, annual World Broadcast offering, quarterly K.I.A. teaching lessons, and more.

  • Collecting each month for donations at our local food pantry.
  • Collecting items for assembling Crisis Care Kits to be distributed in areas struck by natural disaster.
  • Collecting clothing to be packed and shipped in banana boxes both in the United States and abroad.
  • We support our LINKS missionary family as they serve and minister overseas with our prayers.
  • We have Missionary Deputation Services scheduled through the upcoming year.
  • K.I.A. (Church In Action) teaching lessons are presented by our local Missions President, Sharon, on each 5th Sunday throughout the calendar year.

Adult Sunday School Class Involvement:

One of our adult Sunday School classes support children through World Vision’s Child Sponsorship program.

Children Involvement:

Our children have volunteered at the Fawn Grove Ministry Center packing clothing for shipment in banana boxes.

NYI Involvement:

Our teens have participated in World Vision 30-Hour Famine, raising money for hunger using flamingos. Throughout the weeks leading up to and following the 30-Hour Famine, teens “flocked” friends and neighbors. Find out more about NYI HERE.
