Purpose Statement
The purpose of the NMI is to foster an
awareness of world-wide mission activity and to create opportunities for
personal involvement.
Core
Values
-
Calling- We believe that it is the
responsibility of the Ryot Church of the Nazarene to create an environment
that enhances a person's ability to hear the voice of God calling them into
missionary activity, both short-term and career.
-
Giving-
A significant responsibility of any missions program is sacrificial giving to
support the work of missions both locally and globally.
-
Prayer-
The key to successful
missionary activity is the concerted prayer efforts of the sending society.
Therefore, we believe that it is the responsibility of each church member to
be involved in regular, systematic prayer for missions and missionary work.
-
Service-
Missionary activity is not a spectator endeavor. We will collaborate
with all available resources to create avenues for each member to express
their faith through acts of love and service locally, regionally, and
globally.
