6th Annual Sled Riding Party —Feb. 4 at 5:30 pm at Janice and Kevin Davis’ home. Bring soup and sandwiches to share. Bundle-up, grab your sled, and common’ out to join in the fun. Don’t feel like sledding, no problem, grab your favorite game and hang-out inside. The bonfire will be blazing to take the nip from your nose!

Nominations & Response Forms—Response forms for nominations regarding the upcoming elections are due back no later than TODAY Sunday, Feb. 5.

Sunday School Needs:

1. UpStreet Co-Teacher Needed in the 3rd-6th grade class alternating with Sharon every two months beginning in February.

2. UpStreet Helper Needed in K-2nd grade class. Can be an adult or teen helper.

3. UpStreet Large Group Worship Leader Needed.

NYI Super Bowl Party —Feb. 5 at 6:00 pm at Carl and Sue Beegle’s home. Bring food, games, and your sense of humor (just because the Steelers aren’t playin’)! See Adena with questions.

Church Super Bowl Party —Feb. 5 at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall on the big screen. Please bring snacks to share and games to play.

Sweetheart Supper—Feb. 11 at 7:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Menu: marinated steak or chicken breast, grilled shrimp, baked potato, tossed salad, dessert. Cost is $20/couple. Sign-up in the foyer by Feb. 5, please make menu choice at sign-up.

Johnstown Generals Football—Battle of the Churches game on March 11, 3PM, War Memorial. Tickets are $5.00. Please sign up on the bulletin board by Feb. 26. The Pastor of the  church selling the most tickets will give the pre and post-game prayers. 

Regional NYI FOL at ENC in Boston, March 15-18. Cost is $285.00 and includes registration, lodging, travel on a charter bus, and most meals. Register by 2/17.  

Mid-Atlantic District Lay Retreat—March 2-4, 2012 in Lancaster, PA. Enjoy the music of worship leader Brian Arner and be inspired by evangelist Billy Huddleston. Go to www.manaz.org for retreat details, lodging options, and registration information. Other questions can be directed to Marsha Miller. 

Men’s Bible Study–Study on Revelation, at the home of Eugene Miller at 7 pm every first, third, and fifth Thursday/month.  All men are welcome!

Chestnut Ridge Sr. High- Bible Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7:05 and every Friday afternoon immediately after school til 4:00 with Mr. Oldham.

Chestnut Ridge Middle School- Bible Club meets every Wednesday morning at 7:45 in room 203, with Mrs. Ziegler.

Crisis Care Kits-Please continue to collect items for kits. If you misplace the list; there is a compassionate ministries sheet hanging on the missions bulletin board in the foyer.  

Prayer around the altar-everyone is welcome to join Pastor Stacy and others at 8:30 am each Sunday morning before services.
